The team has been datamining the game's files, and found that most loot (weapons, armor, trader items and anything inside of containers) is not guaranteed to spawn. One example of an item spawn point:
* Rookie difficulty: 100% chance of M860 Cracker
* Stalker difficulty: 83% chance of M860 Cracker, 17% chance of SPSA-14
* Veteran difficulty: 90% chance of SPSA-14, 10% chance of Ram-2
We can't say for certain that every player will find the AS Lavina in that cave, and because the whole game seems to work like that, we decided it would be best to pin things that are guaranteed to spawn - locations, artifacts, stashes, side quests, and so on. Hope that makes sense!
